Job’s Country was established in Westhoff, Texas on 130 acres of rolling hilltop terrain.  We are located about 1.5 hrs. from San Antonio, Texas in rural Dewitt County. Since our start we have additionally accessed 156 acres of lease pasture also in Dewitt County. Job’s Country produces cattle of various breeds including Brahman, Hereford, Angus, Charolais and Beefmaster.

Job’s Country has a slogan, Built on Nothing Less.  Our business is built on the cornerstone of our faith, our Rock, God, who does not change and whose strength and stability started it all. For years Job’s Country raised crossbred cattle but has devoted our Westhoff location for primarily registered Brahmans.  The Brahman breed is desired for us because they are truly a solid foundation.  In our ever changing climate, the Brahman breed is resilient.  Their protective personalities and beauty are characteristics upon which to build. The Brahman breed can be crossed with virtually any beef breed to produce offspring that can meet all demands.  At Job’s Country our goal is producing a solid animal that grades prime, with our focus on structure of animal.  Our business philosophy is to sustain an all natural operation.  We keep our Brahmans at our home in Westhoff, Texas where care and attention is invested in them to produce gentle, robust, majestic herds. With the combination of beef we raise, there is diversity for every palate and pocketbook.
